I'm considering moving to Liverpool in a couple of years...advice?

I'm a 20 year old female currently moving in with a friend in Glasgow, but I'm thinking about going to Liverpool once I've grown up a bit! Would it be a good city to live on your own? I've been and found Liverpudlians (I think!) very friendly and it probably wouldn't be difficult to make friends. Just something I'm considering...I'm considering moving to Liverpool in a couple of years...advice?
Liverpool City Centre is a great place for twenty-somethings! There are loads of apartments, either conversions or some very grand new-builds, which are available very cheaply at the moment The night life is second to none - people travel here from far and wide just for the vibe. There are 3 universities and this guarantees a wide and varied mix of student types. The bars are brill and there is so much art, history, sport, shopping (Liverpool One is the biggest shopping ';experience'; of its type in Europe and all the designer brands are here)....the list goes on. I think it's probably the best provincial city in the country. As a young singleton, city centre living would probably be best. Check out RightMove for available properties. the beauty of Liverpool is that the city centre is quite compact so nowhere is very far from anywhere else.I'm considering moving to Liverpool in a couple of years...advice?
Do your research and plan it out.


Liverpool has it's problems like any other large UK city but they are far outweighed by the advantages of living in a diverse cultural environment with such a rich history.


I found Glasgow very similar to Liverpool and have just answered a question saying I thought it was the second most beautiful city after Liverpool.





People from anywhere tend to fit in here so I sure that wherever you are from you will too.
I don't blame you. I am much older than you, but I am still hoping to move to Liverpool. It's the friendliest place on earth and there is so much to see and do. There are so many students in Liverpool, so it must be a good place for young people to live. My advice would be to seek advice from the locals about which part of the city to live in.
