Looking for advice from a couple dealing with herpes.?

I am falling in love with the lady I mentioned in my last quesiton. But, there is one major problem and that is her fear of getting genital herpes from me. She thought that listening to a couple that is dealing with herpes may help her feel better. So, I thought that this site may be a good place to look. I'm looking for that couple that would be willing to tell us about how you both as a couple are dealing with the herpes together in terms of intimacy, prevention, etc. If anyone can help, please reply this question.Looking for advice from a couple dealing with herpes.?
Herpes is simply a skin rash. Nothing more. I don't understand why we get so bent out of shape about it.

This happened to a friend of mine:

Herpes woman told her then love interest, now husband ';I have herpes';

He replied, ';So do I!';

Truth: He didn't have herpes. He just said he did. He loved her and a skin rash wasn't going to interferr with their relationship.

They married and loved and are happy.Looking for advice from a couple dealing with herpes.?
I have been in an 5 year relationship with a disease free man and never gave him the virus. I have been seeing another disease free man for almost two years, same story, he has remained disease free.
Well, I'm not a couple but I do have herpes. Tell her it's not a death sentence, it's just irritating (literally!) every once in a while. It's not going to shorten her life or anything like that.
There's a chance of the other partner getting herpes, but the chances will be less if the person is on meds and if they use condoms or avoid sex when there is a flare up.
