Windows Live One Care VS Norton VS others....What to do when my Norton expires in a couple days ? Advice PLZ?

I鈥檝e used Norton for 2-3 yrs, my computer's slow %26amp; maybe because of Norton?I鈥檝e read Qs %26amp; As on Y!A about these antivirus softwares/downloads %26amp; so many people say different things as to what鈥檚 better...so what IS better?I bought Windows Live 1 care from Costco when on sale for $7total...which is cheap compared to Norton@$40+ in the past, but I have heard about AVG and McAfee and NOD32 and Kaspersky and a few others from other Y!A, but I鈥檓 not sure which to use when it expires soon.I don鈥檛 want to mess my computer up trying to install/uninstall a few trying to see what鈥檚 better.


I want my computer to work better, not slower w/it on there%26amp;protect my computer against viruses%26amp;spyware junk,so what should I do?


A-Start using the windows live 1 care when norton expires %26amp; see how it goes


B-Return the windows live 1 care %26amp; just go w/my normal norton %26amp; buy it


C-start using windows live1care %26amp; also use something called spybot as well


D-Use this instead: Any other ideas or solutions!

Theres plenty of free programs out there to keep your computer clean. Avast and Avg for antivirus and then Spybot adaware and Avg Antispyware for any spyware issues.

AVG is one of the best antiviruses out there. Its free and it updates itself everyday also it runs the antivirus. McAfee is Crap. Nortons is a good antivirus but people have problems when it expires. You have to get rid of all the files that has to do with nortons and the only I have found to do this is to reformat the computer then reinstall nortons and you have another year before it expires. Depending on how old your computer is and how much memory, how big a hard drive you have in it depends on how fast it runs. the spybot and spyware all that stuff is a magnet to draw stuff in, I run 4 computers and I have no spybot or spyware or any of the other stuff they have out there they say helps your computer, all it does is put more stuff which makes your computer run slower. I hope this helps you in your decision.

AVG Fail the last certification of 100% and nod32 use just a little resources of your computer, so it will be faster
