LIne up your help in advance. For everybody who says ';What can I do to help'; Sign them up to come over and help clean the house or to bring a meal.


Life is CRAZY after twins are born. And people offer to help but sometimes we don't know how to accept, so we never use that help.


The more time dad can take off after the birth the better. IF there is any other close friend or family member who can stay with you or at least come by daily for a couple of hours after he goes back to work, that would be good too.


The help I needed most was housework, and that was the help I just didn't know how to ask for. In hindsight I'd have asked any volunteers to come over for a couple of hours on a saturday to do a quick cleaning party.. (I had 2 other kids so my house got messy. If it is just 2 adults and newborns, you might not suffer with this as much as I did)


Oooh if you are doing this FOR a couple for their baby shower, i'd get a big calendar and have everybody put their number down and write what they'd be willing to do. Since you probably dont' really know when the babies come for sure, you can't schedule anythign. But if willing guests put their name and number down and signs up for 2 meals and 1 saturday ';work day';, THen after the babies come all it takes is to sit down with the calendar and phone and pencil everybody in.For those who have been through it- what is the best advice to give to a couple who is expecting twins?

First off, there is a wonderful experience in carrying twins. I know for I was pregnant, with Mono Twins, and lost them at only 12 weeks!!





I would say that you should do this for a shower announcements:





I would tell anyone having twins, this:


One baby pees, poo, gaga and goo goo's, only two babies can honestly say I love you! All the time put into having us, and making us what we will soon be, you will always be our special gal and guy, kudos to you! Or more simply mom and dad a dinaminte duo, who has us, your kiddos!!


Just try to make it rhyme more!
