School starts in a couple weeks and I am trying to get rid of my acne, does anyone have any advice?

I already go to a dermatologist but nothing works from themSchool starts in a couple weeks and I am trying to get rid of my acne, does anyone have any advice?
Use a mild soap for sensitive skin but it doesn't matter exactly what type of soap you use. It can be designed for acne-prone skin or not, but you will want to treat your skin gently. Harsh antibacterial soap may actually make your acne worse by irritating skin.

Remove dead skin cells regularly by exfoliating. Use a gentle scrub with natural defoliants like ground walnut shells, or use an over-the-counter chemical defoliant like salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Adding ground walnut shell to a thick moisturizer like cocoa butter can be effective too. Take caution, because over-exfoliating can actually increase the likelihood of acne by irritating the skin. Pat dry, rather than rubbing, since rubbing can cause irritation to the fresh skin you've just revealed.

Use a good toner. Spray onto face or wipe on with a cotton ball and wipe off with a clean, dry cotton ball. This gets rid of excess cleanser and tightens pores. Good, inexpensive choices include plain witch hazel for normal to dry skin, lemon juice, or 3% hydrogen peroxide for oily skin. 70% ethyl rubbing alcohol can also be used for severe oiliness, but it can really dry out your skin and irritate it more. Some toners are medicated, and this stage is the best for using a medicated product if you're only going to use one medication.

Bacteria in pores is one cause of spots. Reduce the amount of bacteria by using toners containing anti-bacterial agents like alcohol, peroxide and benzalkonium chloride, and by using creams that contain benzoyl peroxide (ask your doctor about benzaclin, with moisturizer if you have dry skin, as it works better than just plain benzoyl because benzoyl takes up to 8 weeks before improvement is seen) which kill bacteria as well as cause the skin to regenerate faster.School starts in a couple weeks and I am trying to get rid of my acne, does anyone have any advice?
If proactive did not work, then I do not know of any other chemical compounds that would be effective.

Are you regularly washing your face so as to prevent oil from seeping into your pores?

It is also possible, however, to wash your face too often, which can also cause acne to break out, because over washing can make your pores even more susceptible to oily build ups.

Stress can cause acne to break out, so if you are under a lot of stress, find a way to ease it. I'm sure your current situation has you under a lot of stress, so try your best to be calm and in control of the situation.

Also, I know of a few other people who have tried everything to clear up their acne, and found that a prescription drug from their dermatologist called doryx, which is a pill, has helped them. It helps your skin to fight the bacteria.

I've heard that sweating helps to clean out your pores, so maybe exercising isn't a terrible idea. Just make sure you clean your face after sweating from a workout. This idea doesn't sound too fun, but hey, when all else fails, you gotta try something.

As a last resort, I do not know how tan you are, however, you could start going to the tanner once a day. Tanning dries your skin, which, in return, helps fight against acne. Best of luck, acne can be a real nightmare.
Drink a lot of water and keep your skin hydrated. While the face may get oily causing you to wash it more frequently or with harsh soap, resist! Wash your face with soap formulated for your skin type, but not more than twice a day and moisturize. the skin naturally tries to get back the pH level and what you should be doing is to help it along, not go against it. if you can afford it, invest in the therasol phototherapy system which is what i did and it has really helped improve my skin condition.
same problem! =D i wash my face evry nite and morning. i dont touch my face since our hands r the dirtiest part of our bodies. use clean and clear. it works =D. if u r going to touch ur face wash ur hands before. hope u the best of luck!
