I have a babysitting interveiw in a couple hours and need some advice?

I'm going in two hours and I'm wondering if shorts would be appropriate to wear. It's almost 100 degrees.

Shorts are fine. They're not hiring you to work in an office, they want you to play with your kids. They should be not to short, I would wear ones that are about knee length.





They'll probably want to give you a tour of the house, talk about bedtime routines and the like. Make sure you pay attention, but make the kid(s) your focus. Ask the kid(s) to give you a tour, show you their favourite toys, where their PJs are, etc.. Shorts are okay to wear in that kind of weather. Just be yourself. You are obviously going on the interview because you love to watch kids. Tell them what kind of games you would play with them and also tell them you would need to have emergency numbers and would like to know of any special interests or needs of the child. Parents are just looking for a responsible sitter and need to feel that the person they hire is able to handle any situation. Good luck! Hope you get the job!! =)
I agree with the first person. You want to look professional and not like a hooker. Super short shorts will guarantee you don't get the job. Longer shorts should be just fine.





Get down on the floor and actually play with the kid. Give the kid your full attention and still look up at the parents to answer questions. Make eye contact and even if you feel unsure make yourself sound sure.
shorts are appropriate to wear to answer your question, just make sure that they aren't TOO short.
