Any advice for couples who cant see each other?

My bf and I have been going out for almost 2 years and our anniversary is like 2 weeks after valentines day but the catch is hes away at college and we cant see each other on either days or for a while so what could i do to make those days special??Any advice for couples who cant see each other?
i feel for you here, my bf is in another country, we go months before we can see is each other when he is home on leave. well do you use a chat program like skype? and talk using a web cam? it helps us sometimes just being able to see each move around and smile and stuff. i guess what i would do, make him a care package so to speak, fill it with mostly little things that just you two would relate to it being special. pictures and notes, his favorite candies....if it isnt too far to send, you could bake some cookies and send them to him, if it only take 2 or 3 days they should still taste good when they'd get there. send him a letter everday for those two weeks between valentines and your anniversary, simply telling him how much he means to you, how much you love him and how attracted you are to him. the options are kinda endless, just get creative. good luck to you both and happy 2 yr anni.
