Well, it wasn't a lot I think but it's the second day and I';m having trouble breathing plus fever and cold numbness in fingers and lips. Afraid it might sound worse than it actually is. I don't wanna walk the hour and half walk to hospital if this could be something that will clear up in a few days. So, yeah... anyone knows or experience anything like-advice on what to do.I breathed in a fine black dust a couple days ago, advice on what to do?
I caught the Black Lung, Pop!I breathed in a fine black dust a couple days ago, advice on what to do?
Incidents like this happen in many locations each day. The lungs are equipped with special devices to move these particles out of the lungs as long as you do not destroy them. These hair like filaments are called cilia.
For the cilia to function properly you must have plenty of fluid in your circulation. Please drink plenty. No alcohol, beer, cigs.
A moderate amount of exercise will make the cilia work harder.
Keep warn and comfortable.
The numb lips and fingers are a symptom of hyperventilation, which is probably because you can't breath right. You should go to your doctor - a hospital is probably not really necessary, you might need a steroid inhaler for a week or two to reduce the inflammation in your lungs so that you can breath normally. The fever is probably a side effect of the hyperventilation and you body trying to deal with the dust messing up your lungs.
