Young couple needs advice on out of state move?

Basically, we live in IL now. I'm 16 turning 17 and he's 22. We're getting married this summer and then we plan on moving. He wants to stay in IL but the rent is much to high and I just don't like living here. I'm 8 months pregnant now. What are some states that are somewhat close to IL (my mom and dad live here) but have cheaper rent and maybe a more ';country'; setting because that's what setting I would like to raise my child in. Surely there are small country like towns in IL. There are plenty of small country like town in Texas and Oklahoma......that is where I am from.Young couple needs advice on out of state move?
Wow you are only 16 and he is 22 and you are pregnant? Where were your parents when you as a minor were having sex with an adult and why the hell isn't he in jail for statutory rape rather than planning a wedding? No way would I allow my 15 year old (obviously you were that age when you started dating this guy) date an adult. In my house 15 is too young to date period. So I'm not going to give you any advice on where to move. In the long run I'll bet he ends up leaving you anyway...probably in a couple of years for another 15 year old.
well then nebraska or kansas would be a good option, my mom moved from IN to nebraska bought a real cute ranch home on 2 acres for around 35000 (not saying this happens all the time,) i lived in north eastern kansas, and had a 4 bedroom 2 story house for 325. a month was an apartment, and gas is cheaper there too!!! lots of country to enjoy! rodeos, tractor pulls all the country stuff
i say..unless u two are stable enough( financially AND relationship wise) to be on your own...stay close to home.


i understand wanting to move and have your own dependence...but u never know what the future holds and its always nice to have family near for support especially 4 a young family...
Talk to your parents and see where you should move to. You could try to talk to your boyfriend and see where he might want to move. If he doesn't want to maybe see what other friends you have to boost up your confidence level. If you know what i mean.
